Howling Dog

The Howling Dog is the electronic persona of this former New York Video Paintbox artist. After seven years of advertising and publications work as well as freelance photography, this RIT grad founded his own Paintbox studio to provide photo composition and retouching for Color Wheel, servicing some of the biggest names in the New York industry.

The personal work, sometimes surreal and somewhat apocryphal tell a story in an image that must be closely attended for all the detail and subtle nuances. The surreal collages capture the feeling of open spaces, live elements and scenes that may even be somewhat prehistoric ~ or not.

Today, this accomplished marine photographer who has collected images from far off places like the Micronesian Islands, the Galapagos, Central America and Mexico, has settled himself and his entourage in far off...Texas. His current projects involve the Dog Gone Sports series as well as a new line of horse (equine not sea) imagery. All of his work is available for license, as open edition prints and wearable art. He is available on assignment for retouching for images that need the most sensitive and professional touch of this top caliber artist.
