Five continents and almost forty U.S. National Parks, as well as dozens of America's other scenic wonders have been lovingly and awesomely recorded by the camera of veteran photographer Jerry Ginsberg. When Jerry received his first camera as a fifth birthday present, he was hooked. His compositions and perfect timing for light, color, form and textures blend to produce images that are beautiful and evocative. American places and scenic icons unveil themselves to his touch showing the wildly animate personality of nature in all of her splendor.
Jerry's long-time goal is to photograph all 58 U.S. National Parks. So far, he is more than halfway there, recently adding Saguaro National Park in Southern Arizona to his growing list. Currently, he is planning book projects on the Redrock of the American Southwest and the Canadian Rockies. Ginsberg recently rafted the Colorado River through Grand Canyon National Park, covering more than 200 miles and 66 rapids. In 2005, Jerry plans to travel to the National Parks of Michigan, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and photograph the three National Parks along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Jerry's award-winning photographs have been published in several books on World Heritage Sights and International Biosphere Reserves, Outdoor Photographer, Nature Photographer, Inner Reflections, honored by the prestigious Arizona Highways magazine and exhibited on both the East and West coasts. He is also the recipient of several Aurora Gold Awards for creativity. Many of Jerry's images have been featured in the national advertising of several telecommunications companies as well as Fuji USA. « return to portfolio page
